you'd make a pretty coat

"Surely you wouldn't dare jump into the lake. Would you? It'd simply ruin your coat," exclaimed the rabbit. He was rather appalled. The girl, however, was unaffected.
"Why, if that happened, I'd simply fashion another out of you!" she giggled. "What use is this silly old coat anyway?" And though the answer seemed to make the rabbit rather cross, she proceeded to climb out of the large and much too poofy chair to make her way through the woods. Oh yes, she was a rather obnoxious child, happily trampling across the mulch in her silly coat and top hat. The rabbit sighed and upon realizing there was nothing he could do to stop her, he reluctantly hopped after her.
